At Oregonbrews.com we created an interactive platform to shine light on the elements that have enabled the success of the craft brew market in Oregon for our target audience, aspiring brewers attempting to enter the market. Touching on 3 main qualities, product, community, and environment, we worked to discover who, how, and what makes the Oregon craft brew market tick. We went to Agrarian Ales and Widmer Brewing to understand the relationship between the state, the industry, and the consumers. We found that a focus on quality of product, an attention to building community, and a positive relationship with environment are the three guiding forces that enable success in this market.

Ben Dobler is the and Manager for Brewing Innovation for all of the Craft Brew Alliance (Widmer, Kona Brewing, Red Hook, & O’mission) His job is to oversee product development and quality. Dobler has been in the brewing industry for over 21 years and has been with the Widmer since 1996.
